Requiring the NYPD to report on arrests of individuals under 18 years of age.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the New York City Police Department to report on arrests of individuals under eighteen years of age.

This local law will require the Police Department to submit annual reports to City Council detailing the arresting charge, the age of the individual arrested; the race of the individual arrested; the precinct of the arrest; and whether or not the location of the arrest corresponds to the address of a school run by the Department of Education.
