A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to increasing the minimum thresholds for eligibility for public funding for candidates for city council
This bill would increase the threshold required to obtain public funding for candidates for the Council to $10,000 in matchable contributions (up from $5,000), including at least 150 contributions from residents of the applicable district (up from 75).
