Requiring the parks dept to repair damage caused by trees owned by NYC.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the parks department to repair damage caused by trees owned by the city of New York.
This bill would require the Parks Department to repair damage caused by trees planted by the city of New York to sidewalks, roads and private property as a result of overgrowth and lack of pruning. Homeowners would not be held liable for such damage.
