Reducing sewer system backups.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to reducing sewer system backups

The local law requires the Commissioner to ensure that where a sewer segment causing a confirmed backup is identified, that segment is inspected and cleaned as necessary within 10 calendar days of the confirmation.
