Reporting on city contracting with local vendors.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to reporting on city contracting with local vendors

This bill would require the City’s Chief Procurement Officer to report annually (no later than October 1 of each year) on the total number and dollar value of contracts awarded by each agency in the prior fiscal year to vendors with their principal place of business in New York City, New York State, and outside of New York State. The information would further be provided by category of procurement: professional services, standard services, and goods. The report would be delivered to the Council and available on the website of the Mayor’s Office of Contract Services.
