Senior emergency information card.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to a senior emergency information card
This local law would require the New York City Department for the Aging (DFTA) to establish, produce, and issue to qualified applicants (any resident of New York City sixty years of age or older) a senior emergency information card containing emergency contact information. DFTA would also be required to provide each applicant, along with the card, with a larger placard on which the individual would be able to fill in emergency contact and important medical information to display for easy accessibility within their home.
