A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York in relation to requiring signage regarding application processing and fair hearings at job centers, SNAP centers, and Medicaid offices.
This bill would require require the City’s Human Resources Administration to post signs in every food stamp center, job center, and Medicaid office that states the standard processing time for approval or denial of applications and information regarding an applicant's right to a fair hearing and how to request one as prescribed by the rules of the commissioner.
