Requiring the NYPD to submit to council reports relating to motor vehicle stops.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the police department to submit to council reports relating to motor vehicle stops.
This local law will require the Police Department to submit quarterly reports to City Council pertaining to motor vehicle stops. Such reports shall include disaggregated information pertaining to the race and gender of the motor vehicle operator, information as to whether or not the stop resulted in a summons or arrest, and factors leading to each motor vehicle stop.
