Permits in Special Natural Area Districts

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to city planning commission permits in Special Natural Area Districts

This bill would require property owners in Special Natural Area Districts to visibly post on their properties any certifications, authorizations or special permits they receive from the City Planning Commission to perform property alterations. The Department of Buildings would be responsible for enforcing this obligation. The bill would also require the City Planning Commission to forward any certifications, authorizations or special permits pertaining to Special Natural Area Districts to the appropriate community board.
