A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to serious collision victims' access to information and collision victims' resource

This local law will require the Police Department to create a website that enables the victims, and the family or next of kin of victims, of serious motor vehicle collisions to access information pertinent to the collision. Specifically, the website would be required to include information related to the subsequent investigation of the collision, whether or not any summonses had been issued and whether any witnesses had been identified and interviewed. Additionally, the Police Department would be required to develop and distribute material pertaining to relevant information and resources available to victims of serious motor vehicle collisions.
