A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to authorizing the landmarks preservation commission to administer a historic preservation grant program

This bill would authorize the Landmarks Preservation Commission to administer a historic preservation grant program. It would prohibit discrimination against grant applicants based on their religious affiliation or lack thereof. It would also prohibit the use of grant funds to preserve interior rooms used principally for worship, proselytization, or religious education.
