Funding a participant in the campaign finance matching program who does not qualify for the full match with at least as many public dollars as an opponent who does so qualify.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to funding a participant in the campaign finance matching program who does not qualify for the full match with at least as many public dollars as an opponent who does so qualify

This bill would give candidates participating in the City’s campaign finance matching program, but who do not qualify for the full 6-1 match because of the lack of a viable opponent, additional funding, in certain circumstances, up to the amount of public money given to an opponent who does qualify for the full 6-1 match.
