Distributing IDNYC application forms at shelter intake centers and HRA centers.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to distributing IDNYC application forms at shelter intake centers and HRA centers
This bill would require the Department of Social Services (DSS)/Human Resources Administration (HRA), in conjunction with the Department of Homeless Services (DHS), to arrange for the distribution of IDNYC applications forms at shelter intake centers, drop-in centers, homeless shelters and HRA centers. The bill also requires a quarterly report to the Mayor and the Speaker of the Council listing the specific shelter intake centers, drop-in centers, homeless shelters and HRA centers to which the IDNYC application forms were distributed, as well as the number of application forms distributed to each such facility.
