Solar power pilot program.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to a solar power pilot program

Subchapter 2 of chapter 1 of title 3 of the administrative code of the city of New York is amended by adding a new section 3-126. This section requires that DCAS develop a residential renewable energy pilot which utilizes a solar thermal district heating system along with solar photovoltaic systems to supply all of the energy for heating, hot water production, cooling and electricity for the development. The homes in the project shall be affordable and remain affordable for the duration of the program.
