Distributing IDNYC applications to all high school students.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to distributing IDNYC applications to all high school students
This bill would require the Department of Education (DOE) to distribute information about the IDNYC municipal identification program to every student at the start of each school year. At a minimum, the DOE shall provide every student with an IDNYC application form, as well as information about IDNYC eligibility requirements and application process, including but not limited to a list of documents accepted to prove IDNYC identity and residency requirements and relevant school or caretaker attestations.
