Requiring the DOE to report on students in temporary housing.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the department of education to report on students in temporary housing

This bill would require the Department of Education (DOE) to publish an annual report on students in temporary housing. The report would include information such as the number of students residing in shelters, the number of students living doubled-up, information on MetroCard and busing usage, and the attendance rate, retention rate, and dropout rate of students in temporary housing.
