Construction Safety - Requiring DOB to report on all construction incidents that result in an injury or fatality to a member of the public or a construction worker.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the department of buildings to report on all construction incidents that result in an injury or fatality to a member of the public or a construction worker
This legislation would expand the data that must be reported when an accident that results in an injury or fatality to a member of the public or a construction worker occurs at a construction site. Additionally, the legislation would impose a minimum civil penalty of $2,500 for failure to report such information to the Department of Buildings following an incident.
