Required documentation for contributions.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to required documentation for contributions

This bill would require that certain records be maintained by candidates or committees for contributions submitted in support of a claim for matching funds. It also would permit candidates or committees to complete a contribution card after a contribution has been made, provided that such card is dated, and signed or electronically affirmed by the contributor after the card was completed. Alterations by a candidate or committee to a signed card would be prohibited.
