Replacement of city-owned trees that have been removed.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the replacement of city-owned trees that have been removed

This bill would require that trees lawfully removed under a permit authorized by the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) be replaced by trees no greater than the caliper size of the removed trees. It would also require DPR to comply with industry standards when it comes to planting, removing and appraising City owned trees.
