Requiring hotels to periodically inspect for bedbugs.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring hotels to periodically inspect for bedbugs
This bill would require hotels with 30 or more sleeping rooms to conduct inspections for bedbugs every six months, and to include documentation of such inspections in their annual property registrations. Upon receipt of a complaint of bedbugs, or an inspection that identifies bedbugs, hotels would be required to conduct inspections every three months for a period of one year.
