Reporting on job creation and employment programs of public housing agencies.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to reporting on job creation and employment programs of public housing agencies

This bill would require each public housing agency operating in the City, including the New York City Housing Authority (“NYCHA”) and the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (“HPD”), to make publicly available online and submit to the Council an annual report on each such agency’s compliance with the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. This bill would also require NYCHA to make publicly available online and submit to the Council an annual report on its employment programs.
