A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring transparency regarding the tax arrears and housing maintenance code violations of housing development fund companies

This local law would require the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) to report to the Council on tax arrears owed to the city by Housing Development Fund Companies (HDFCs). Additionally, HPD would be required to report to the Council on outstanding Housing Maintenance Code violations that have been issued to HDFCs under its supervision.
