A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to increasing the living wage and expanding the class of covered employers to conform to executive order number 7 for the year 2014
This bill would raise the living wage to $15 and the health benefits supplement rate to $1.75. The bill would also codify the expansion of the class of employers required to pay their employees a living wage in conformance with Executive Order No. 7 for the year 2014. Additionally, the bill would remove an exception for covered employers that are grocery stores participating in the Food Retail Expansion to Support Health (FRESH) program.
