A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the department of education to report information on Career and Technical Education programs in New York city schools
This bill would require the DOE to report annually to the Council regarding information related to Career and Technical education programs, including the number of CTE schools and programs available to students, the number and percentage of students at each high school in a CTE program, the number and percentage of students who applied to and enrolled in a CTE-designated high school, the 4 and 6 year graduations rates from CTE-designated high schools, the number of full-time and part-time certified CTE instructors, and the number of professional development trainings administered by the DOE relating to CTE instruction.
