Requiring the registration of owners of vacant property.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the registration of owners of vacant property.

This bill would require owner of any real property in the city to register the property as vacant upon it being vacant one year. Registrations would need to be renewed annually and failure to comply would result in a fine between $100 - $500 per week.
