Removal of inoperative or decommissioned fire hydrants.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the removal of inoperative or decommissioned fire hydrants

This bill would require the department of environmental protection to remove from public sidewalks any fire hydrant that has been inoperative for more than two years and for which no repairs are scheduled, as well as any fire hydrant that has been decommissioned with no planned reinstatement.
