Use of air conditioning systems.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the use of air conditioning systems
This bill would expand to small stores (retail or wholesale establishments under four thousand square feet) the prohibition against propping open outside doors while an air conditioner or central cooling system is operating. It would also require that stores which are part of a chain post a notice on each door stating that violations may be reported to 311.
