The coordination and targeted delivery of social services in high crime areas.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the coordination and targeted delivery of social services in priority areas

This bill would require the NYPD to prepare an annual report to identify the top 35 high crime areas to the mayor, council and support service agencies. The report shall include a map of the high crime area and the total number of major felonies. Appropriate support service agencies shall develop a coordinated, multi-agency plan to provide necessary social services in the high crime areas.
