A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to distress signals for passengers in taxicabs, street hail liveries, and for-hire vehicles
The bill would require all taxicabs, HAIL vehicles, liveries, black cars, and luxury limousines to have a panic button installed that would allow a passenger to send a distress signal to law enforcement.
