Extending the rent stabilization laws.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the City of New York, in relation to extending the rent stabilization laws.

This bill amends the City’s rent stabilization law to reflect that a serious public emergency continues to exist on and after April 1, 2015 in the housing of a considerable number of persons within the City. The bill also amends the rent stabilization law to update the expiration date thereof from April 1, 2015 to April 1, 2018.
