Geothermal systems

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to geothermal systems

The proposed legislation requires an identification of the geothermal types of systems and the buildings suitable to be served by geothermal energy as well as the adoption of rules and registration requirement for persons who design and install geothermal systems. Finally the bill requires the Department to undertake a study of the waterfront properties suitable for the installation of geothermal systems in marine surface waters.
