Reporting of assaults on taxi and commission licensed drivers.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to reporting of assaults on taxi and commission licensed drivers.

Under the bill, the Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) would be required to report on the number of TLC licensed drivers that have been assaulted. Beginning December 1, 2015, the TLC would submit quarterly to the Council and publish on its website the number of assaults of drivers, disaggregated by the type of TLC license held by any such assault victims.
