A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to providing e-mail and text message notifications regarding major transportation projects.

Under the bill, the New York City Department of Transportation (DOT) would be required to offer e-mail and text message notifications regarding major transportation projects—those that will alter four or more consecutive blocks or 1,000 consecutive feet of street and involving a major realignment of the roadway—to interested individuals, Council Members, and Community Boards.
