Student attrition and backfilling.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the department of education to report on student attrition and backfill data.

This bill would require the Chancellor of the Department of Education to provide a report on student attrition and backfill (replacement of students who leave) data to the Council. The report would include data with respect to specialized high schools, gifted and talented programs, and charter schools.
