Issuance of orders to correct underlying conditions.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the issuance of orders to correct underlying conditions.

This bill would make five or more violations of the same or a substantially similar nature over a course of five years prima facie evidence of an underlying condition existing in a building and would allow tenants to apply to the housing part of the civil court for an order to correct such underlying condition.
