Reporting and providing information concerning bedbugs.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to reporting and providing information concerning bedbugs

This bill would require building owners to file the bedbug history for buildings with the Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD), and to either post the bedbug history in a prominent place within the building or distribute the history to tenants upon signing a new lease or a lease renewal. This legislation would require HPD to post a building’s most recent bedbug history form on its website.
