A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to a pilot program involving black box or telematics technology in taxis and street hail liveries.

Under the bill, the City would be required to conduct a pilot program to install and use black box technology in taxis and taxi-type vehicles, to track its speed, location and braking system.
