The sale and use of gas-powered leaf blowers.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the sale and use of gas-powered leaf blowers.
Prohibits use of gas-powered leaf blowers before noon on weekends and on state and federal holidays; and between the months of May and September. Prohibits use of gas-powered leaf blowers that exceed 65dB(A) of noise. Prohibits the sale of gas-powered leaf blowers that exceed the 65dB(A) noise level.
