Requiring the base building systems of certain buildings to be operated by individuals with a certificate in building energy efficiency from an approved program.

A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the base building systems of certain buildings to be operated by individuals with a certificate in building energy efficiency from an approved program.

Int. No. 13 would require owners of large buildings to ensure that base building systems are operated by or under the supervision of individuals with a certificate in building energy efficiency. It would also set qualifications for programs authorized to provide such certificates.
