Int 1895-2020
Food service establishments’ packaging of food for delivery.
This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) to establish rules that would decrease the risk that food packaged by restaurants for delivery is tampered with before reaching the customer, which may include requiring tamper-evident packaging. Violations would be punishable by a civil penalty of up to $100 for each violation.
