Emergency planning for religious institutions.
A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to emergency planning for religious institutions
This legislation will require an agency or office designated by the mayor, in consultation with the police department and office of emergency management, to provide religious institutions with support in establishing and maintaining emergency plans. Such plans will include, but not be limited to, establishing protocols to address threats of violence and safely evacuate premises as needed.
