Int 0989-2018
Designating community information centers in the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn during the course of the Canarsie Tunnel closure starting in 2019.
This bill would require the Department of Transportation, in coordination with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, to designate at least one community information center in each of the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn during the Canarsie Tunnel closure starting in 2019 (also known as the L-train shutdown). These community information centers would provide resources and information to members of the public regarding the reconstruction.
