Department of health and mental hygiene posting worker guidance for best practices for protecting workers from extreme weather.
This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (“DOHMH”) to post on the department’s website information on best practices for protecting workers from extreme weather, such as extreme heat, extreme cold, and low air quality. Such guidance would be posted in English and each of the designated citywide languages.
