Creation of a task force to assess safety risks at construction sites.
This bill would establish a task force, headed by the Departments of Buildings (DOB), and composed of various City agencies to assess the safety risks posed to pedestrians and motorists by construction sites. The task force would also submit recommendations to the Mayor and Council on proposed measures to mitigate such safety hazards.
