Int 0536-2014
Contemporaneous registration and absentee ballot application.
This legislation would allow New York City residents who are qualified to register to vote, to apply for an absentee ballot at the same time as they register to vote or update their registration to reflect a change of address. The Board of Elections would also have to allow applicants who are not yet registered, but who are submitting a timely registration, to apply for an absentee ballot contemporaneously.
