Accidental death benefits (S.5590/A.9093)

Communication from the Mayor - "AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the payment of accidental death benefits to certain surviving spouses of members of the uniformed force of the department of sanitation of such city; and to amend the retirement and social security law, in relation to death benefit coverage for eligible tier 2 and 4 members of the New York city employees' retirement system and the board of education retirement system of such city who die while on authorized medical leave of absence".
