Allowing for practical experience gained separately but concurrently with an apprenticeship to count towards the supervised practical experience time requirement for the granting of high-pressure boiler operating engineer licenses.
This bill would allow applicants for a high pressure boiler engineer license to concurrently complete the 2-year apprenticeship program and 3-year practical experience requirement within the same 3-year timeframe.
