Int 1011-2015
90-day transition period for displaced food service workers.
This bill would require a 90-day retention period for food service workers when an owner or operator terminates a food service contract for a corporate cafeteria, arena, cultural institution, etc. The new food service contractor would be required to evaluate such workers after the retention period and, if deemed satisfactory, shall retain such workers. The bill does not apply to restaurants.
